6910 Credit Reimbursement
CESA 5 employees attending pre-approved courses at universities and technical schools are eligible to have a part of their tuition costs reimbursed. The rate of reimbursement is:
$60.00 – Associate/Technical Degree Credit
$170.00 – University Undergraduate Credit
$230.00 – University Graduate Credit
The maximum number of credits an employee will be reimbursed for per contract year is six (6). Staff must work at least half-time to be eligible for college credit reimbursement at a prorated amount.
Reimbursement will only be given up to the cost of the credit. Prior approval for courses must be obtained in writing from the employee's immediate supervisor. The Agency may deny reimbursement for courses that did not receive pre-approval. Forms for this purpose may be obtained from the CESA 5 Business Services Department.
