It is necessary for the agency to carry adequate insurance coverage to see that all Board members, employees and the agency itself is protected in the event of lawsuits and accidents. The Agency Administrator has the responsibility to see that all needed policies are in force. All policies shall cover all aspects of agency operations and shall protect the agency from any catastrophic loss.

The agency will carry adequate property, liability, automobile, and other necessary insurance policies with appropriate deductible amounts. The agency shall carry a worker’s compensation policy as required by Wisconsin Statute.

Appropriate fidelity bond coverage will be secured for the Agency Administrator and Board of Control Treasurer using Wis. Stat. 116.03(9) as a guide.
